Does anyone know where I can get a gear knob that fits? I bought one from ebay but the collar on the gear stick is too wide and it won't lift up when the new gear knob is on

I have a MOMO gear knob on mine and I have to say it fits so well that it could've left the factory with it! It's made especially for lift up reverse gear sticks and the collar fits perfectly inside the knob. This ones almost identical to mine

Ahh thanks for that I got a richbrook one and it didn't fit so that's £20 down the toilet. I'll try one of them, thanks

how do you get the old gear knob off? brute force like i did on my old marea? i used a pair to mole grips on the knob and twited it off to break the glue

Yeah it's the same as the marea, glued on to a spline so you have to break it of. I think I did it the same by gripping it with a set of pipe grips and twisting it off

Fiat have a special tool to remove and refit the gear lever knob.

Wouldn't be too difficult to make something similar.

i think i could use my wind screen wiper extractor to do that, even though i have a new gearknob i wouldn't mind getting my original gear knob flocked
