Today my stilo decided to not start on me. On a carpark!! Anyway long story short as i can. My partner bump started the car for me and managed to drive it home. The steering is stiff and won't move. Had to fight with it to get it home. The engine isn't even trying to start. What could be the problem? Iv had various messages come on the display.follow me 30's, insufficient oil pressure, airbag failure please check handbook. i have had others come up too but cant remember them. Since i bought the car it has told me to check light bulb but all my bulbs are fine! Any help please

welcome to the forum start with checking battery then alternator. if the battery don't have power all sorts of strange things happen

I am going to leave the battery on charge overnight to see if that works. Will update in mornin, thanks

Don't forget to disconnect the battery from the car when doing this

If your power steering didn't come back on after the bump start then there is most likely a voltage problem as the power steering is one of the first things to fail. Battery, alternator and earth points should be checked
