Well, efforts continue. I've been commuting to work and back over the last three weeks (it's finished now, thankfully) - a half-hour trip each way but with traffic jams etc. to contend with - for the three weeks, I've managed 33mpg. I've switched the trip computer into miles/mpg because I couldn't be bothered working out the 'old money'.
In the weekend just gone, I drove to Auckland fairly carefully (but still at the speed limit) and by the time I arrived, the trip computer showed an average over 38mpg as you see below.
