Has anybody had the white clip behind the clutch pedal break (RHD).
Was driving home last night, when my clutch pedal shot to the floor and did not return, managed to drive car home using revs to change gear (interesting experience), on closer examination the piston rod from the clutch master/slave, not sure which it is, had pushed through the white clip tucked behind the clutch pedal and through the little hole , jamming the pedal to the floor. have managed a temporary fix with a flat piece of metal over the hole with two jubilee clips either side holding it in place. I have the plastic part on order, but not quite sure how to remove / replace clip.

There are 2 parts to the white plastic clip, the rectangular clip and a dome that fits inside it. Part numbers are 46554494 and 46554495.

i have been looking for a thread on this!, my clutch clicks when i press the pedal. must have been searching wrong!

Is this a bad thing like its gonna brake an i have no clutch?

Mine wasn't clicking of making any sort of noise, I first noticed that the clutch pedal wasn't fully returning to top position, this lasted about a day before breaking. The link above from Davren is very good.

Yeah gonna spend a bit of time studying the thread!, and see what solutions there are.
