used it for my cruise control cable.(y)

You said you used this grommet for you cc cable, have been looking into this mod did you use Alfa stalk, and the lower cowling did you modify yourself if so could you post picture of the 2 stalks. So I can see roughly what's involved in the cutting of the cowling

Re: Want to take wires through bulkhead on my Stilo

these ok for you?, it looks ok if i had the rubber lie on the other stalks it would finish it off, but it can't really be seen anyway.

Re: Want to take wires through bulkhead on my Stilo

Thanks it looks really good, defiantly looking at doing this mod, you cannot tell its been fitted afterwards. Did the installation give you any grief

no worked first time!, my only advice is to read the whole guide, i know theres loads of pages, but its all in there. and write down your colours so you dont get mixed up with the d4 plug/cable cores/stork colours, you might be lucky with it having the plug under the cowel!

if you connect up to multiscan you can turn your cruise control light, not a biggie but makes it feels "standard" if that makes any sense!

Re: Want to take wires through bulkhead on my Stilo

That's 1 Alfa stalk bought for £10.50 just hope I have the plug under steering cowling, had quick look no sign of it yet but struggling to get top cowling off to see if its under their, seems to be caught under steering wheel boss, is their any catches / screws I' m missing to remove top cowling ?

Re: Want to take wires through bulkhead on my Stilo

Should have read guide properly it says two 3 mm Allen key bolts to remove it, at top front , unfortunately no connector block under there so got to go from battery box

Right I have now installed Alfa stalk, and all wired up from the stalk to brown connector (D4A), checked and double checked against the pins, and all checked out with multi meter showing I`ve got voltage as each button is activated. however it doesn't work anybody got any suggestions, have checked with FECUscan and I am now getting a brake sensor error code of P0703, which I didn't get before. Have had a read some of the previous post and it mentioned about the brake and clutch pedal, using the software it shows that the clutch is being pressed / released, and the brake sensor the same, however I think it was position 2 on the brake sensor remains OFF, could this be something to do with the problem. Also the post suggests about putting a 12v live feed to AO2, is this in the brown connector where you have just connected the green wire from H7 (resume) connector, or is it from another connector block altogether.

thats a shame, if your wiring is all correct, are you turning it on an setting it right?. i did see in the guide about putting 12v to a pin, i have seen where people have had the + and - te wrong way round?

im sorry im not much help, i can only explain from my own experience, ill have a read though, the solution is on here somewhere!

Many thanks, I did have the issue with -Ve and +Ve, wrong way round ,but all wired up correctly , also checked post to make sure I was activating it correctly, and all seems OK, I hope I can get it to work, it would be a great mod if I can.

Cruise control all up and working, had to connect permanent 12v supply to pin A02 in the d4 connector block ( black one, not the one where previous 4 wires connected), however I am noticing that sometimes when it's on it's a bit juddery especially if the speed is higher than the set point, is this normal operation or do I need to make any setting changes somewhere, have previously done cc relearn, and proxy alignment to get cc light on which works perfectly now.

Re: Retro-fitting Cruise Control.

Shouldn't be juddery on accel.
It sometimes judders a little on decel. Especially down hills. It's where the ecu rolls the throttle off.

Or it could be that the rear bushes on your wishbones have gone soft, as was the case when my Cruise Control caused juddering!
