I don't know if this has ever been asked on this particular thread before, I just went through something similar under the 2nd gen Bravo. What are your personal gripes with your Stilo? What do you wish you didn't have to live with in your car?

Hate is a very strong word and TBH nothing falls in that category for me. A minor gripe might be the number of interior rattles from time to time, but that happens with any car...

I'm lucky to have a late, face-lifted model, by which time most of the issues had been sorted by FIAT.

Agree about the interior rattles, mine has a few that seem to fade when the car is warmed up :).

hate is a strong term....

Noting i really hate, annoyances yes, the headlight bulb change debarlce, although now its easier as i have had the bumper off twice, i can get it damn quickly now lol

annoyed that my skyroof has packed up (know what it is though just need time to fix it blind motor so can't do a reset)

annoyed my climate control blower is not working correctly another job for next year lol

annoyed my alarm went loopy last year and another thing to fix.

but overall i love it, great space can get my hardtail in the boot by just taking the wheels off, i love the look of it, cheap to run, cheap to tax, cheap to insure and not bad for doing brakes on.

That's awesome, I got to experience a Stilo Abarth recently (https://www.fiatforum.com/bravo/286...son-bravo-150-t-jet-sport-v-stilo-abarth.html)

I drive a Bravo Sport currently and I can't say I am not tempted to swop my Bravo for the Abarth. It's a solid car, has a naughty exhaust note and I could hardly stop myself finding a reason to take it out for a drive when I had one to try out for a weekend, and it would be totally paid off if I took possession of it.

I can't say I'm a fan of that "rubberised" texture you get on the door cards and centre console which ends up going sticky when you try and polish is up with dash shine. I do however think the dash and interior generally is quite well screwed together - far better than my friends focus it must be said

Try Auto Glym bumper and trim gel it works really well on the interior trim and leaves a nice glossy finish as opposed to that sticky feel :)

Apart from the headlamp bulb changing and scrapes to paws on passenger side when doing them and them pesky plastic beam adjusters that perish only big headache the stilo m/w gives me is that the fuel tank does not refill itself when the low warning light comes on .something that should be supplied as standard equipment me thinks or a wallet that refills itself when empty letter to Fiat and my M.P in the post for that one..

as above - no hates from me. I totally love my car and I have had some great cars, and I drive some great cars. Even the headlight bulb thing doesn't bother me too much although I do wonder WHY?

erm..yeah, some rattles but no biggies and mine pretty much only come from the sunroof blind when its open I don't think I have any other rattles.

er..hummm......oh, here's one, the cost of a new key, I hate that!

I really hate the "beep, beep, beep" alert that tends to show up out of the blue at the most inconvenient of times...

Mine would be more irritating than hates as well but:

*Door interior plastics - show scratches & are a big step down from the rest of the interior.

*Noisy suspension on rough roads. It's had a few bits replaced but it's always been one of those cars you can 'hear' the suspension on, when on rough roads, particularly at low speed. Just makes it sound like a bit of a shed, even though I know it isn't.

*Indicators that cancel too soon or don't cancel. I think I need to look at mine as the stalk has got worse, but all Fiats seemed to have this annoying trait until the last couple of years. Gladly the Parents 500 and even more so my Sisters MiTo are much better so I'm hoping I won't have this on my next Fiat/Alfa.

Nothing else springs to mind. I'm pretty fussy about things not working right so the fact it's kept me happy for 5 years is quite an achievement I think. Stilo's really didn't deserve to be the sales flop that they were but least it gives us something rare to drive that doesn't cost the earth to buy.

Ooooh I got one...... Every 12 months I get the "service coupon expired" message on my dash. It's not the most annoying thing but I always think there's something wrong with the car when it beeps at me

Only once a year? Think yourself lucky...I get that message every time I switch on! It's a pain you can't re-set it. Oo-er maybe there is something I hate after all..!
