My circuitry on my fiat stilo fried. so i brought a second hand one. Fiat told me the cant change the mileage and i will have to buy a new dash from them and they will add the mileage. are they bluffing me of??

Depending on the mileage on the secondhand dash you got , as if you used a registerd version of the multiscan software and connecting cables it allows you to increase the mileage but not decrease, there may be other people out there that have the equipment that allows changing the mileage up or down, would think fiat would only be authorised to use new parts from them and why they stated that to you, there is someone from the netherlands that comes on here that is very handy with dashboards but you would have to send dash to him if he is available and capable of doing so.

yes, i can adjust your donor cluster to the mileage of your old cluster (up-or downward to the real mileage) but you will have to send your cluster to the Netherlands....
Fiat can only adjust upward with their workshop tester but of of course this is possible with a second-hand unit too....
In most cases i can also repair these Stilo clusters , after the repair they will retain all original data.
