Hi all, Im new to the forum and I must say there's lots of helpful information on here, found out lots of new things about my Stilo from reading on here. Anyway, I have plugged my car into diagnostics and used Multi ECU Scan and its come up with the following error codes on the body tests:

u1602 can line error
b1029 serial line w
b1037 cigar lighter and air conditioner light

I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix these problems or even what they mean. Ive tried searching on here and used Google a lot but come to no conclusion. There is no issue with the running of the car as I'm aware.

Appreciate the help and thanks in advance!

Now that you have noted what error codes you have stored using multiscan have you tried deleting the codes and see if the re-appear as they could well be old stored codes that are no longer a problem and could of been caused by a simple low battery problem some time ago..worth deleting and see if they come back then you know you have an issue to look into, have had error codes myself in past from low battery and deleted using multiscan and they have not re-appeared...always good practice to note any codes before deleting just in case you have a problem with car and can check which codes re-appear, I use the printscreen funtion on laptop and save for future reference if needs be.
Although do not know of information off hand on the codes you have listed

I tried deleting the codes, the U1602 error came back immediately and the other two came back after about 2 minutes.

Is the cigar socket working and not blown a fuse, I have had can line error come up when something else is at fault just comes up with the item that is faulty may be worth checking all connections to ecu's are in clean and ok also the D4 connector down back behind battery is known for getting moisture damage so may be worth a clean and check and check/clean earths if cigar socket is working ok,

Thanks for the reply, the fuse had blown, there was nothing left of it but the 2 teeth that go into the fuse socket. It solved the cigar lighter error and the serial line but the can bus error is still present. Could this be because my remote key fob doesn't work? I read somewhere saying that could cause the error.
