Hello!

When I connect my stilo I have errors:

U1702
U1600
U1700
U1706

When I delete errors only 1702 stays(I cant delete it). Turn off and on engine - again all 4 errors.

I have cleaned D4 connector, battery and charging is ok. I have about 8 airbag errors but I dont know if it's connected (I want to repair engine error, airbags are for later

Sometimes I have ESP/ASR errors but I can easily delete them. About once a week I see car security error, but I need turn off engine and it disapear. Same with fuel sensor, once a week or two, I don't care about it but maybe it can help you with diagnose.

My ideas:

- near the front left wheel is 2 cables that have something with CAN BUS, so I need to check that
- maybe ECU problem (repair costs about 140eur) but I'm not sure if it help
- some kind of grounding error? (but I don't know how to check)

Any sugestions?

well, im no expert on the 1.6, but I think its more likely you have a goosed ECU.

Checking the grounding is a good idea though, you need to trace from the battery (negative) and any grounding you can find (again not sure where they are on a 1.6 but should be easy to see). Just remove, clean and reattach to clean metal.

About the ECU, I'm thinking about making alternative mount for my ECU (sth like this: watch?v=v5N7eiSyDfM ) So regenerating ECU is good idea anyway.
