Hi everyone, I am new to this and recently brought a fiat stilo abarth 2002.
Upon multiple attempts, just can not get the handsfree to connect. My phone won't pick anything up. Have I accidentally turned something off? Please help. I have researched everywhere and nothing I have tried will work in pairing. Can not find it in the manual either.
Other than this difficulty loving the car!!

Lol Thank you. Might upgrade it then. Apparently came with it when I brought it, waste of time trying to find it. At one point we got on Bluetooth "handsfree" up but phone died while trying to pair. Perhaps this wasn't the car I was attempting to pair with, hence why I can not find it now.

Thank you very much for clearing that up :) feeling like an egg.

OK, I see you're in NZ. My Stilo has Bluetooth because I've replaced the Connect Nav+ with a "Special for FIAT Stilo" stereo from China. People think it's factory-fitted, but it's not. See https://www.fiatforum.com/stilo/318857-product-review-special-stilo-dvd-gps-stereo-china.html

From what I've seen though, no-one else seems to have one, and most Stilos in NZ still have the original Connect Nav+ that never had any maps for this part of the world.

The original Connect Nav+ has a SIM card slot, so it has a phone built-in and works on Vodafone and 2 degrees networks only (not XT). The sound quality is very good but the hassle of having a second SIM makes it fairly useless. If you're with Vodafone, they can provide you with a second SIM and divert your calls appropriately. If you're on XT, then you're SOL.

Then there's just the other problem of how to get music into the Connect Nav+, as it doesn't deal with CDs very well (always starts from track 1). A CD changer emulator, with connected iPod or iPhone, might be worth a try.
