hi all,

just really wanted to know the best place for fiat coilovers, and if its a good idea to look for 2nd hand set?

and ive noticed a few people plugging off their rear wiper, mine recently snapped when i was too heavy handed (all grunt and no finesse) but i cant find any gromets or seals to fit tightly, anyone got an idea?

and whats peoples opinion on camber? i know its not the norm for most italian cars

cheers

Hi there,
If you want good quality coilovers, they are going to be expensive :)
I would be looking at AP coilovers, heres the link:

2nd hand coilovers for Stilo? Hmm... good luck finding them :D

About rear wiper hole plug, you should just look on ebay for universal one, i would say, only diameter matters.

Camber, ech? What wheels are you going to use? You must have a darn wide wheels if you need camber. I never done it myself, but im thinking getting camper on rear might be more work that it seems. Im thinking about special made "adaptors" to achieve camber.
Other than that, just lowering the car you will get some camber, you will need to adjust caster.

I removed my rear wiper and motor and blanked the hole, cleans up the back end nicely, takes a bit of time removing the boot trim then the wiper motor but doesn't take that long :) I got a small box of about 5 blanking plugs from Halfords and just fitted the one that best covered the hole, cheap to buy the blanking plugs.

You'll struggle to find a second hand set of coilovers for sale I think :p better buying new as that way you're guaranteed that they're not dodgy (unless you buy cheap to begin with :p)

about coilovers i have RACELAND on mine not too bad but really hard on the road
last about 3 years
anyone can help to buy a red door for my stilo 3 doors version???
