hey chaps,

had the car in for full service today and some other bit including a regas of the air con. They have oiled it and filled it but unable to actually test as the compressor isn't coming on.

The ecu says P0530, which is the pressure switch. Apparently the system is holding gas, so either my compressor is gone or the sensor needs checking/changing.

I cant find an answer searching the forum, can anyone point me in the right direction? I need to know where the pressure switch is for the air con, and where I can get a new one. If I need to change it, does this require de gassing first, then re gassing?

Its down near the condensor easy enough to replace no need to regas.

thanks, I was reading this last night and its very helpful. going to have a look tonight when I get home form work. if im lucky, I will just need to fit a new one-fingers crossed!
