I have a 1.8 3 door stilo 51 reg. Have a few electrical problems all linked together i think! Firstly my car wont blow air in, and now my power steering AND windows takes about 10 seconds kick in when i start the car. I plugged a code reader in and got u1600. But that surely wouldnt start the car? I cleared it and re scanned after a while and got no error codes.. oh and my windows still operate when the key is out and the doors are locked! I have an elctrical probe so someone please help me on what i should do tar very much.

u1600 as you say refers to key immobiliser and would not start car although if yours is starting may be worth checking battery condition and connections at battery and remove check relays by battery have good clean terminals..do while battery disconnected so that will try reset car as below
Also try disconnecting battery for at least 30min see if it resets..
Do you have battery fuse board cover and not have any water damage in that area

Right thank you il give that a go! I have fuses over battery. Just cant work out why it all happened within the same hour or so. Just dont want it to be a bad computer or something like that

do the usual - check both battery cables and clamps. check the negative especially and all earth straps (not sure where they are on yours) it sounds to me (im probably wrong) that you have a bad earth.
