Hello everyone.
I recently bought my first car and im in love with it...a fiat stillo with a very beautifull shape (coupe version, completly black) and a very beautifull roof.
The problem on the roof is that the skywindow wont open at all.
When i rotate the switch i can hear the motor working but the windows just make a very short glinch, a very short move, like they would start to move but imediatly stop. not opening at all.
The sunroof open and closes but not in the correct position. A guy tried to look at my skywindow problem and he disconected the motor off the mecanical part...to show me that electrically is ok. After he placed the motor back in the gearing i started to have problems with the position of the sunroof..it wont go to fully close anymore.

Has anyone meet this particular problem? Looking forward for some tips..i would really like to make it work..please help

Hi, Welcome to the FF.

Try the reset procedure described below.

1. Turn the rotary selector knob to position '0' (fully closed)
2. Keep the rotary selector pressed for longer than 2 secs. The roof should close.
3. Wait, keeping the roof completely closed until the blind has clicked shut twice (Hard closing position) and then returns to the Soft closing position.
4. Release the selector and press it again within 3 secs.
5. Keep the selector pressed until the roof (glass and blind) is completely open and then closed again.
6. Release the selector.

The procedure is completed at this point.

The procedure will not take place successfully if one of the following conditions occurs:

1. The rotary selector has not been placed in position '0'.
2. The selector has been released during the manoeuvre.
3. The blind operating button has been pressed.

If the procedure has not been successfully concluded it should be repeated.

I just got back home and got a chance to try this procedure. It has helped to close the blind but after i press again the knob the blind opens slightly (1 glass slice) and the glass makes some sound like it would try to open but doenst move, i just hear the motor spining a bit and the glasses making a clutch sound then it stops like that.

Is there anything that i could check ?
