Hi..this morning i have drive to work, after 3-4 km engine stops..error was low oil pressure and engine fault..then i turn on acc, dash shows red engine logo..about 1 hour later, turn on acc everything normal, car starts..turns on scan the computer wont show anything..before night was raning..perhaps moisture will cause these problem..?
sorry for english..:p

Not sure about the 4th gear comment, but it may be the cam shaft sensor.
My camshaft sensor went, I experienced similar symptoms. The error message may just be random ones. If you try to start the car straight after, does the engine refuse to start?
I had my car towed home, grabbed a new sensor for £30ish, fitted in a few hours and good as new.

then engine stops, i try to start agen, but nothing..towed a car to service, in the service error on dashboard doesn't show engine fault..connect the ecu scan, doesn't show any faults..After passing the few kilometers, the engine temperature normal, everything is great..i will wait and see what's happening next..
(i have change the crankshaft sensor to my girlfriend stilo jtd, before some weeks ago girlfriend stilo stops, then they scan the ecu scanner shows crankshaft sensor fault..i have changed that sensor and now everything is fine with that stilo)

i read somewhere in a thread about the position on the sensor, not being the right distance/angle, could be worth a check the position on your girlfriends compared to yours.

That's on one of the petrol engines. The JTD crankshaft sensor fits in the crankcase. It's position is not adjustable.

Today I are driving home from work ..i try to turn from 3 gear to 5, the engine starts
pulsate, Then engine fault and engine cut off...if i try to start again, turn on acc and wait 2-3 sec..red engine light shows despair and shows agen, when i try to start my engine, nothing happens...when i try to fire up the engine suddenly, don't wait till light on dashboard goes off, after a few turns engin starts. Then shows engine fault press gas pedal till 1500 rpm engine light turns off...any ideas..?:confused::confused:

I don't know diesels but is it possible that you have water in your fuel filter? Perhaps you can take the filter off and drain it.

That is just an idea to try and think of something that isn't triggering a fault code.

Water in the JTD fuel filter triggers a warning message on the instrument panel, and a P2264 fault code. ;)

Ah, I thought it might have :) thanks for confirming. I guess it's always possible to have a sensor fault? I'm clutching at straws obviously

Otherwise, I'm out of ideas already!
I would, of course, suggest having an ELM327 cable/MultiECUScan available at home, to re-check regularly for fault codes - I think that's essential for any Stilo owner. Maybe the garage/workshop connected to the wrong ECU.
