hi guys, new to this forum stuff but thought id introduce me self, my names kev im 24.

tryin to pass my driving test and got this car cheap its a 1.6 16v 2004 stilo cost me £380 so far and i fixed every thing but it does 2 werid things

the car will sound tappy like it needs shiming then will go perfectly fine then start again after about 10 mins, doesnt go loud just gentle tap

and after car has been running for 10-15 mins on tick over water starts over flowing out the water bottle but the temp guage stays in the middle.

could any on advise me on these please
