Hi there i have a 4door fiat stilo and have a problem with engine on idle it feels like it chugs (like someone humping in back) lol
engines not missing but feels like a very small hunt not like an injector or coil failure and rev counter dnt move

eml light isnt on put it on examiner and no error codes and nothing out of the normal
reset all parameters

carried out phonic wheel learn plus throttle learn but too know evail

car feels very underpowered when pulling away from second onwards
But is fine if thrashed from 1st all way to top gear

It does need a service as light is on

Has anyone experienced this at all please help as this is really annoying

did you clean the throttle body ?

Ill try that tomoz but tbh it is pretty clean but why would it cause chugging when driving along at say 50mph at steady speed

changing your spark plugs with the proper type can make a lot of difference in your engine's behaviour....

Ok will do that thats what i was thinking it cut out the orher day and eml light cone on so will see what that was aswell
