Am I right in thinking I have to completely dismantle the door in order to replace this part:


Its the bit that holds the lock barrel in place; I accidentally rounded off the torx head last winter when trying to lubricate the mechanism after it kept freezing up. Any tips?

Thanks for the help.

Tips for anyone attempting to dismantle the door:
- The torx screws holding the lock are T40 size
- The window comes out and goes back in fairly easily but its best if you have a second person there to help. Pilkington glass is stronger than you think so even if you're a little heavy handed, it'll still forgive you!
- You will inevitably break some of the trim clips.
- When removing the inner panel, you have to pull the top towards you and then raise it to clear the window mechanism.
- The bowden cables for the handles need to clip back in exactly as before otherwise they won't work!
- Don't forget the LED cable.
