Hi Guys
The air con doesn't seem to cool at all, so i have a top up bottle with a gauge that i bought from halfords for my last car.

I can't get the quick connect valve to engage.

Has the stilo got a different size connection to other cars, as i thought they were universal.

Oh ! it's a stilo 1.4 active A/C 53 plate.

It will only fit on the side marked "L". NOT the "H" side.
You have to pull back the outside of the fitting, push the fitting onto the filler nozzle & release the outside jacket while holding it on. Make sure you read the instructions & follow them precisely, if the Air-con hasnt worked for a while I'll almost guarantee the system will need evacuating with a vacuum pump, testing for leaks and ONLY then re-charging if no leaks are apparent. You checked the electronic solenoid operates when switching the Air-con on & that no fuses are blown yeah?

Don't over-fill BTW...

Finally got it connected and the gauge read borderline, so a quick top up and everything works ok.

Thanks for the help...:)
