Quick question...

I have a Stilo 1.6 5Spd gearbox for sale at the mo and I keep getting asked questions regarding fitment, so before I give anyone incorrect advice....

Firstly, does the Stilo 1.6 gearbox directly fit the Bravo/a, Marea, Doblo and Multipla 1.6's? (providing they're the cable selector type and not rod type)

Secondly, are the ratios the same for those cars? (i.e, is it an identcal gearbox?)

Cheers guys (y)

the only thing i can tell you is the doblo gearbox its an exact fit and same outside components such as the casings. but the internal gear are slightly different. i had gotten a doblo gearbox assured it was fine for my 1.6 the truth was that it was slightly lower gear ratios. i noticed sometimes while changing gear from 2 to 3 the slightly lower gearbox caused the car to brake sometimes a bit as in a 4wd car with big tires. it was fun in the begginging cause it was a bit better since had had shorter gear ranges but at the end wasnt worth it due to the discomfort of this. We had also bought a 1.6 stilo gearbox to fix a doblo at work and was fine.
