However, things have changed since the guide was published and it's now easier, and cheaper to do. For example, the 4 second delay on the power supply is no longer needed because the CN+ can be proxy aligned to the body computer with Multiecuscan. Instead of removing the headlining to fit the new aerial and leads for GPS/GSM, you can get a combined GPS/GSM aerial to fit on top of the dashboard. For the telephone and voice control of the CN+, it should be possible to use a cheap microphone insert from Maplins rather than the expensive Fiat one.
Several members have also done it by getting all the required parts from a donor car.
