My centre rear seat belt is stuck, won't budge. Apparently this "could" be an MOT fail issue...
So any tips about where you start looking?

I had the same thing took a while to figure it out, if theback of the seat is not fully home and clipped in the seatbelt won’t work, it’sa safety thing.

Just checked that. The seat is all clicked in properly... is there any check mechanism or something to look at?

mine failed its MOT on this last time, I was lucky and fairly easy fix. Managed to get enough slack to undo the the lower bolts that attach it to the the car. once slack it can then be reconnected.

I seem to remember to get slack in the first place I undid the black plastic holder at te top of the seat.

Hi. If I remember correctly the boot mat was caught undermine, but even after I removed the mat I still had to slam it back a few timesto get it to work, not had any problem with it since.

I've had this happen a couple of times and had to unbolt it from the rear floor before I could release it. Now whenever I put the seats down I always unwind the seat belt first and hold it in the extended position while I lower the seat, and same again when I put the seat back up.

lift rear seat base undo 2 star bolts on middle belt 2 min job (2 days to find star bit set though) AND next time before folding rear seat fasten middle belt like we should have (y)

thanks guys. I opened and closed a few times, no joy, so I went hunting for the bolts, and by the time I'd pulled the carpet back it had released itself.
