General type of standard Alarm/immobiliser, needed for insurance

I remember from when I had issues with the siren on mine it was a Meta and when looked into it further it was a Meta alarm fitted as standard fitment, mine was registerd in Jan 04 if that info is any good for stating what type of alarm fitted for insurance usually it sis a case of just saying it is standard fitment alarm/security when I go insurance hunting come renewal time

The immobiliser for all Stilos is Thatcham Category 2 approved. If the car also has the optional factory fitted alarm, the immobiliser and alarm combined is Thatcham Category 1 approved.

For insurance proposals, you would normally tick the "Manufacturer fitted immobiliser (or alarm/immobiliser)" box.
