Can someone point me in the right direction for some info
the fault readers stating thats the problem with my airbag

Is the orange connector behind the seat belts.
Please help if any info

Sorry for delay
the codes are
P0022 passenger curtain squib to ground
P0032 passenger occupancy sensor internal error
P0022 passenger curtain squib o-c

Thanks as cars failed MOT

The curtain airbags are connected in the boot behind the compartments above the wheelarches... pull out the lining and you'll see a orange connector - these can go bad... try clean up the pins.

The OCS sensor (occupancy sensor) is a common fault and likely the sensor itself, but you can try clean the grey connector under the passenger seat.

I've just bought and connected the bypass for under the seat
And it's still coming up!! I will try the block connectors under the wheel arch once batt off for 30 mins

Once I turn ignition on should the fault clear or does there need to be so many starts for it to clear
Thanks

What are you reading the codes with? All codes starting with P are powertrain codes.

P0022 = Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Retarded
P0032 = HO2S Heater Control Circuit High (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
.

Since it's not possible for something to be shorted and open-circuit at the same time, I suggest that at least some of the codes are "Intermittent - Not present". MultiECUScan shows that, I don't know if the Ethos does, but either way, you'll need to clear the fault codes and see which ones come back. In my experience they don't clear themselves.

I really appreciate your help
down to one code which is a passenger airbag curtain,and the wire needs sorting.
Where is the airbag and connector in the roof lining?????
I took the trim off and seat belt and could not find

Just a thought, with the vast majority of these being built for LHD countries, perhaps the 'passenger' curtain airbag squib is in fact the drivers side? Unlikely, but it may be worth cleaning that connector too.

Other than that, the fault may be along the cable from the connector travelling down the car towards the dash.

I'd be tempted to get another curtain airbag and just plug it in to try. You can pick them up for around £25... infact theres one on ebay at the mo for £5 + £10 P+P. Its a gamble, but it will stop a lot of head scratching if it clears the error.
