Hey guys my stilo has decided to give up on me on my way bk to work, all of a sudden it started knocking loud so I fort **** and turned round to try and get home and boom it died and now when I try to turn it over nothing? No spinning noise just flashes up on the display loose connection? So before I cry does anyone have any ideas?

I don't like to be the harbinger of doom but from your meagre description of events I would say the engine has seized. Did it have oil in it? Really need a fuller description of exactly what happened and the type of engine would also be useful!
Possible cambelt failure.
Badly worn or about to snap belt would slip a notch or two and could create the banging you heard(piston hitting valves). I doubt you'll be able to turn the engine over now as the pistons are probabely stuck against the valves.

Yeah oil level was good its a 1.9jtd stilo engine and ive just managed to toe it home but yeah I think its fubar tbh I think im gunna cut my losses and strip it for parts as its got a full leather iterior and skyroof so might get my money bk in parts lol so if anyone needs any stilo bits give me a shout
