Hi, any help appreciated.


Basically as i accelerate (in any gear, but not every time) the car jumps like its "missing" (hopefully that makes sense).

Once the car starts to jump it triggers the engine warning light and annoying beeping.

Could this be a coil pack issue?

Sounds like coil pack, don't drive until its resolved, unburnt fuel entering your CAT is likly to kill it

I had a feeling it would be.

Anyone know where I can get a cheap one? Phoned for a quote earlier and was told £180 to replace one. Hmm
Anyone know where I can buy them? For. What I've read thy are rather easy to fit even if you've never done it before

If you cant tell by now, I'm a novice with cars (in fact this is my first). So this next question might be ridiculous.

My Stilo is the 1.2 16v, 52 Reg.

Is it possible to replace them with coil packs from the 1.6 16v Stilo?

Nope, will be engine specific.

Only ones which might possibly be the same is the 1.4 16v as its the same engine series.
