Could be a weak battery, quick way to find out is to stick a battery off your friends or relatives car in place of yours and see if it improves things. You should also have a look at the earth points to check they're in good condition. There's one on the gearbox, one on the nearside front wing behind the battery, one on the ecu mount bracket and one on the drivers side chassis leg near where the horn is. Might be more but not sure

Thanks, i had a look yesterday as I've literally just bought it and they put a different battery on it and its fine now :D but the indicators don't stay down? Ill indicate and it'll just pop back up? And there's an error saying brake light failure when they all work?? If you know anything you couldn't happen to pleasseeee advise me lol

You can get that brake light warning from a loose or worn contact, also if the light is getting old it can throw up the warning. Remove the problem light (the screen on the dash will show which side it's on) and clean up the contacts on the light and bulb holder and see if that solves it. Swap the lights from both sides around and if the warning then starts to show on the other side then I'd suspect it to be the bulb.

I picked the car up today, and all the rear lights and brake lights are all fully working but still says brake light failure? Indicator still doesn't stay down even though I've played with the rubber :( and the orange triangle with the exclamation marks also on?

Have you done as Mark advised

Yeah sorry forgot to say I tried it, I cleaned the contacts as they didn't look the worlds greatest but it still says the same thing :( + mine doesn't say which side it just says brake light failure in general so ill do all the bulbs like he said to so I hope that works :) the indicator thing still hasn't done much even when I plate with the rubber :/

And you swapped the sides to see if the fault follows

In the past I have had brake light faulty showing and although working still showed the fault, it did show with arrow the side at fault..I replaced the bulb and fault message cleared..must of been weak filament or bad connection in bulb as I did clean up the origenal bulb and fitment and it still showed the fault..so could be worth changing the bulb for known good one.
