I have a registered version of FES...but I also have a laptop with a gubbed hard drive and a dodgy Chinese ELM327 so can't use it :(

I have retrofitted digital air conditioning, cruise control, connect nav, steering wheel with buttons and Abarth clocks. I have the annoying flashing oil light and yellow triangle (loose connection/ no parking sensors) on the clocks and flashing mileage. I'm looking to see if there's anyone close by with full FES who could do a proxy alignment on my Stilo so that the oil and yellow triangle go off and the correct mileage shows and stops flashing. Also if the proxy allignment can make the cruise control display on the screen then that'd be awesome. Also got an airbag warning that I'd like to source ;)

I'm in Bridge of Weir if anyone is willing to come out and do this your fuel will be covered and beers will be awarded also :)

Cheers

If you find yourself in Inverness Mark I be happy to plug you in..a little far north for you but you may be wanting to get a good view of the northern lights not sure if that is worth tackling the A9 for. I .have full multiscan and did a proxi to set up the cruise control on mine

You may not get the oil light to work if you've fitted the Abarth multi function display cluster.

The oil pressure switch on the 1.2 engine is connected to the engine management ECU, which sends the signal to the body computer, which sends the signal to the cluster via the CAN.

The Abarth MFD cluster expects the oil pressure switch to be connected directly to the cluster.

Thanks for the offer mhowse, I may take a mate (or a chick if I'm lucky this weekend ;) ) and come up some time. Since you've proxy alligned with your cruise control does it appear on the LCD display?

Davren, it's the cluster off the manual abarth, presuming you mean the large LCD display in the middle of the cluster that comes on the Selespeed versions? Unless the manual abarth gets the oil pressure signal the same way? But if what you say is true in both cases could I splice the wires and connect them straight onto the back of my cluster? I think just removing the light from the cluster will be easier ;)

yes no problem Mark if you find yourself in the area just say.
I only did proxi with my standard clocks in my jtd after retro fitting an alfa cruise control stalk, after I did the proxi I now get the little green steering wheel indicator light on the dash and it also says Cruise On when I switch it on ,,that shows on the lcd panel for few seconds then goes back to the normal but all works as it should after the proxi not sure what problems you may have with the items you have fitted from arbrath but your welcome to have a go with my FES if you not get any luck locally

As far as I can see from the wiring diagrams, it's only the cluster with the multi colour, multi function display that has the oil pressure switch wired differently. If the cluster you've fitted has the same displays as your original, it will probably be OK once proxy aligned.
