Technical Flickering warning triangle !

If wet is getting behind the instrument panel, it needs to be sorted immediately. However, this is unlikely.
My theory, water is affecting one of the sensors listed, but the instrument panel has a poor connection or earth, causing the bulb to flicker. Or the warning bulb is about to die, causing it to flicker.

Today I noticed that the drivers side and passenger side of the plastic scuttle is coming away at the ends. I've attached a pic, could water be getting down here and causing this light to flicker? Only a thought......

ok, mine is definitely sealed. I would advise some outdoor gutter sealant, or tiger seal - though I assume it would need to come off in the event of needing a new windscreen.

Definitely worth investigating, but because you cant be sure it will fix it, id use gutter sealant or similar - its flexible and should last years.

no, water shouldnt be getting in by the windscreen... they're bonded so the chances are neigh on impossible.

im pretty sure the scuttle panels hook in by the windscreen. im sure theres a thread on it somewhere its quite a fiddly iirc but usually when they're disloged like that its just because a previous owner couldnt be bothered to put it back right

I know, this again! I don't think its the cluster, Clivvy did a test with his FiatECUMultiscan and it all checked out ok. So earlier i was driving and i had a thought as to another possible cause. As i think rain/damp is the issue, i wondered if it could be the ABS sensor at the rear of the car.....Can these wear, bad connection etc?

Since you have said that the triangle only comes up in the wetter weather and not in the drier summer months, is there a chance that you are givin' it too much stick when its wet/frosty/icey and just generally slippery road conditions and it is your traction control indicator showing every time it kicks in? Do you have the ASR button underneath the "city" button?

Does it happen around bends and/or are you giving it a boot-full when taking off and accelerating?

Hello

It's not the traction control indicator, that's a separate light that I do see quite often in this weather

. This flickering triangle is present at any speed, even at stand still. I may never discover the cause of this but I like to think of new theories!!! I suppose my only option is an auto electric an but it's just a matter of cost and will they have to dismantle half my car to find the problem

Thanks
