I hope you can help with this one.

I have a strange noise in the cabin of my car. It sounds like its in or around the gearstick area, and only happens when I pull away / stop. The only way I can describe it is that it makes the noise like 2 ballbearings in a biro pen, if that makes sense.

Anyone else had this?

No its not anything loose in the car. As I say it sounds like its coming from the centre consul area?

Maybe a screw come loose in the center consol, and rattling around in there ?

Its too consistant for that, sounds a bit like a big microswitch. Guess I will be pulling my dash to bits

Right, I have had the centre consol in bits today and there is nothing in there? Sounds like the noise is coming more from the handbrake area, is this going to mean an unhelpful trip to the dealer?
