Hi guys,

A couple of months ago I posted about my JTD115 struggling to start on a morning. Well, its still doing it but the good news is that I've narrowed it down to loss of fuel pressure overnight which has been confirmed by a garage. Bad news is neither of us know exactly why.

Its been a problem thats gradually got worse. Are there any common places for the JTD to loose this pressure? Any tests I can do to narrow it down?

Cheers guys :)

I can't fully remember the JTD fuelling set-up,
possibly a leaky non-return line back to the fuel tank,

However , unless it's drawing air and creating an air-lock every morning,
then the fuel pump priming as your glow-plugs pre-heat should see plenty of fuel for an instant start upon cranking,

Charlie
