Sometimes when Im driving the revs get stuck on 2k and sometimes on 3k.

Also when the car is idle (normally when I wait for traffic lights), it revs a bit (alone), shows me engine failure and doesn't rev. In order to move I have to switch off the engine, fully press the throttle pedal and start the engine.


Things I've done so far: Cleaned throttle Body, cleaned MAP sensor and cleaned ECU contacts.

anyone had a similar problem? just took it to a garage and replaced the map sensor.. problem exactly the same :/

Have you tried a throttle relearn? Do this, clear error codes and see if its made any difference.

Did the throttle relearn (Switched it off for 1min, switched to ignition for 1 min ) but fault persisted.. It is giving me another error now! :bang: Could it be something from the ECU??

The garage already replaced the pressure sensor (second hand one..)

Did you solve this? Im having exactly the same problems on a 2005 1.6. changed the map done map and throttle relearn still persists. cleared codes but p0105 won't clear

Still having problems mate. Managed to lower down the errors by replacing the throttle body and make a re learn. Till now I bought 3 throttle bodies!
