Hi all , well fusebox arrived yesterday and i have just fitted it , guess what !!!!! she started first turn of the key , I SHOULD BE OVER THE MOON but wait for it dash tells me engine fault and loose connection ????? should of know it wasn't going to be that easy , I havce done 3 good starts and rev'd the engine as i did read that sometimes it will clear faults that have been stored , Mhowes help lol . what state is battery in suzi ...do you have a fault reading equipment to read the fault codes and then try reseting the engine fault light to see if it re-appears..also have you tried cleaning the earthing points on the car.and is the D4 connector ok now you think...not the day to be working outside on car Dunkeld usual wet n windy..
another thing when you took old fuse board out did you compare all fuses and relays matched the one you put in and none missing or extra that could cause problem

Hi Mhowes , not got any way of testing battery , and I thought I would just take here road the block to see if she drives ok , but when I tried to drive her the steering is as heavy as a tank and there is a icon light up on the dash of a steering wheel so I guess that's something to do with power steering ?? or am I having a blonde moment which would be nothing new !!!! yes check all the fuses and relays and everything matched up, and know i have just lost the only 10mm socket i had , not a good day the the rain is falling fast and heavy , bugger , bugger bugger !!!!!

Hi Suzie a weak battery can cause the steering to not function it cuts parts off when it notices battery charge is weak....

If you having trouble I am heading down A9 tomorrow saturday will have fault reading laptop and multi meter for seasonal get away..let me know by private message if can help..

in mean time think need to charge battery all testing and cold has killed the charge
