Thanks

Mine is 75Ah, as the former owner installed it. Also confirmed by forum-friend here in my country is to use this instead of 60Ah.

Thanks alsimmo il look into that

So 60ah should be ok then . Does the height of the battery matter? 175 or 190mm

StiloBoy eurocarparts have 15% off at the mo

Checked my battery the other day (I was giving it a top up charge). Its only a 44Ah, that said it works a treat in a 1.2. Although I topped it up on charge because I've done such short journeys recently.

Personally I'd suggest going big Ah if you can afford it. I recently stuck a 70Ah unit in my classic mini, but then I have lots of uprated electric to the lights and horn (running 5 additional relays).

Petrol Stilo batteries are all 190mm high to fit in the hold down bracket.

The 075 battery in your link is only 175mm high. You would need to pack out the bracket somehow to hold the battery down.
.

Thank you - that explains why I've had to use polystyrene blocks in three different Stilos to hold the battery down properly, even though all three had the 'correct' DIN55 battery (they only come in one height here in NZ, but I shall try to find something taller next time).
