I've noticed something weird about my 2.4 abarth today.

When i rev the car when stationary, lets say up to 2500 rpm, then the revs drop slowly by itself to 1500 to 2000 rpm, without me taking my foot off the gas. So i keep the gas stable but the revs drop by itself.

What could be wrong? Or is it normal?

greetz.

I do have a rattling sound at about 2500 to 3000 rpm, but thats something I know I was to blame for. But here's something interesting: I found out that both the inlet cams of cilinder 1 were worn out by about 3mm's resulting in holding-in and power loss. Replaced the inlet cam and solved the problem of holding in. But the behaviour with the throttle at sationary (first post in thread) is just about the same...a Fiat thingy probably.

:)
