I've run a diesel car since the early 1980's.

The JTD Fiat (my first Fiat experience) I currently run, uses the thinnest oil I've ever used (as per spec - 5-30 fully synthetic) with a Slick 50 additive. It uses no oil between changes ...

Regular use includes a 50 mile round trip daily commute, some cut and thrust town work - and a weekly 120 mile motorway run.

The question is, when to change ?

10,000 miles is coming up fast .... or, could I leave it a bit longer.

Advice/suggestions appreciated.
