I have one sidelight that stays on after i take my key out of the ignition, and no my lights aren't left on lol... Its the outside light on the passenger side, i have changed the headlamp as it was cracked and letting in water but it still does it and i'm having to carry two batteries as it drains my battery, my alternator is fine its just i don't use the car everyday. This may sound stupid but do the parking lights use both the sidelights at the front and the back?

If you have the indicator stalk switch, switched to one side when you switch on the parking lights, only that side side lights should illuminate

Do you have to switch the stalk on for one side then press the "P" button to make that work? I'd been pressing that button on it's own with no results so though it didn't work but I seem to have been missing something. Is this feature standard on all stilos? Including the 1.2 Active?

1. Switch ignition off.
2. Press parking light button for more than 2 seconds or until you hear the beep. (All side and tail lights, and the green side lights warning lamp come on).
3. Switch the indicator stalk switch to the side you want to stay on. (Opposite side front and rear lights, and the green side lights warning lamp go off).

Works on my 2003 JTD MW. Assume it does on other variants.

Thanks for that Davren, I'll try it out soon enough. One more thing: presuming it doesn't work on my Stilo, do you think it's one of those features that you can "turn on", like the retro fit cruise control?

I don't recall seeing anything about it in FES (MES) so I doubt it.

It seems to be a totally unpublished function. There's no mention of it in either the 2002 or 2006 Stilo handbooks.
