(G) Auto Italia stilo photo shoot

Some of you may remember a few weeks ago that someone from auto Italia was asking if anyone wanted to put their stilo forward to feature in the "buyers guide" section of the magazine? Well I put my name down on the list and after a few emails and a couple of photos, Enzo, my shumey stilo will be featuring in a future publication of autoitalia!!!

I know it's not exactly the feature car of the mag, but it is a 5 page spread, and ive always wanted a car in a magazine so on Thursday, I'll head down to the studio for a 3 hour photo session, meet up with my wingman BLKC99 for a bite to eat and have a fun day out

I hope they let you keep the pictures. I would love a wallpaper of a shumey on my desktop.

I am proud the Stilo, and in particular a fine specimen like yours is, makes it in a magazine. This shows that the Stilo is not dead, still a cool car and well worth the admiration of the whole world.

Thanks guys, I'm nervous and excited at the same time! It's great for the stilo and the forum as they get a mention too . Although I'm not getting paid for this shoot I do get to keep the cd of all the photos taken and a copy of the mag that it will feature in. I'm not sure which issue it'll be in yet certainly at least October as I've already seen what's in next months.

So this weekend has been spent cleaning him up and tidying a few things up. I've fitted the original grill and badge back on to give it a more "original" look and I guess I'll have to take my sub box out so no BOOM BOOM on the way down

Please let us know in which monthly copy you'll get into because I want to get one of those shipped to Romania for my collection.

No problem bud, the moment it lands on my doorstep I'll be letting everyone know , if I can get my home PC working soon enough, I'll stick some up from the shoot? . I'm hoping they'll let me take some photos of them taking photos lol

Has anyone else ever had a car in a mag before? Do you think I have to get it clean or dot they do it there? Cos all the cars I ever see in mags are immaculate? And I got a 2.5 hour drive to get there?

Wash/ polish/ claybar everything you can yourself - buy 3 boxes of cling wrap - proceed to wrap entire car in cling wrap - upon arriving at destination remove all cling wrap from car - place in suitable disposal unit.

Seems a bit OCD but that's why I would do...in that order as well. You can let Enzo get blasted in flies at 70mph for 2 and a half hours happy in the knowlege that you only have to peel off a thin sheet of cling wrap to get him gleeming again

This is a very good idea mark, only for one problem........ Once wrapped in said cling film, how am I supposed to get in it to drive it down there??

when we( me stu d and Exoticaholic) went they gave us a cd of all the photos, they take loads, but dont send it till after the mag is out and if you use them any where they must be credited to tog and mag.

i wouldnt worry to much about marks on the drive there they have photo shop our shoot was out side on track and pissed down all day, but in the photos my wheels were whiter than new

they dont mind if you scan a bit of the artical in the mag to give an idea of what is in it too, but of corse not the whole artical as that will stop people buying the mag
