I have a 55 plate Fiat Stilo 1.9 JTD and the cluster has failed, which has been confirmed by a repair firm as being unrepairable.
I've read lots of threads saying these can be replaced, has the second-hand cluster got to have exactly the same software and hardware versions as the original one?

I bought one from ebay, from a Stilo JTD, and this doesn't work either. Is this because the software and hardware versions of that cluster is different, as even the speedo doesn't work? Or have I just bought another faulty cluster?

It should have worked to be honest, Unless yours is a multijet which im guessing by the age it isnt. What age stilo did the cluster come from??

Might be worth cleaning the D4 connector under the fuse box in the battery box and just making sure there are no loose connections there.

I think it came from an 02 plate, will check that connection but there is power going to it as a lot of the warning lamps are on.
