Found a pic from when they were fitted by TED jordan.

funny looking at car coilover shocks even the best ones seem fairly basic compared to decent bike shocks, this is what's fitted to my bike -

adjustable remote preload, remote hi and lo speed compression damping, rebound damping and i can also adjust the height through changing shock linkage lengths.

imagine having four of them fitted to a car:)

£750 each.

also to quote YAMPUG.

"adjustable coilovers are not designed to be used to make your car sit lower or higher so you can think it looks pretty. if you lower it your springs are going to be so squashed up they won't work and if you higher it they won't do **** all.

lowering the car does not even slightly squash the coil......... it lowers the lower attachment to the strut so slides the strut further up into the spring. the compression on the spring doesnt even slightly change :).

and although there not designed to slam the car, it does allow you to lower the car and increase the damping to stiffen it up.

This is the reason I liked the post.
what a funny thread, you lot ought to read this(y) -

coilovers :ROFLMAO: an amusing term derived for boy racers who usually haven't got a clue what they're talking about but love to tell their mates they've just fitted coilovers cos it sounds cool

I've only just found out what "Coil Over" means and that was difficult, I just couldn't get a simple yes or no to my question ...

I want to ask another Q about wheels, deep dish wheels.
I might get second handed deep dish wheels, they look awsome, but i can see one problem. I dont know the ET of the wheels just yet, but they look to be 20-25 ET, how bad is that for stilo? :D How far the wheels would go out of arch with 20 or 25ET? Any1 had any experience on that?

Does any1 tryed widering stilo arches? without any fiber glass or similar attachments to orginal arch? (Sorry if i sound weird, i dont rly know how to say it in english)

You can roll the arches to make them slightly wider. There are guides online showing how to home make an arch roller our of car jacks and skateboard wheels.

I could go to local garage to roll arch, but i was a bit curiuos, if Stilo arches are thick enough for arch rolling?
Another problem i might have, about bumpers, if i get my arches rolled, i might loose the perfect line between arch and front/rare bumpers?
Does any1 saw any Stilos with rolled arches?
