hey guys, i'm having a problem recently with my stilo 1.6 16v cutting out intermittently while driving. Most of the time it is as i'm reversing out of a parking space ETC. But sometimes it has happened while at 40mph. Once even on the motorway! No warning lights or messages come up whatsoever and the car starts again no problem.

The idle is ok but it could be better, it does shake a little a bit up and down but not much. I've recently had the throttle body cleaned and the Lambda sensor changed to try and fix the problem but to no avail. As i said, the car starts up fine no problem afterwards so i think that may rule out the crank sensor. It seems to happen mostly when the car is cold, when it's warm it seems to drive fine.

So i'm thinking this must be an electrical problem. There is no chug chug or a starving feeling from the engine it is just a complete cut out. I am also getting a flatspot in the revs at about 2000 and think it may be related. anyway, check this pic out i took while looking over the fusebox. Notice the circled plug at the bottom of the fusebox, it's quite big (purple) and i don't know whether it should be disconnected or anything.
