Its all sorted now thanks to this forum

Besides the engine fault, security fault, car not starting, then when it did it wouldn't turn off..i mean taking the key out of the ignition and the engine still running, didnt think it was my car at first no-one belives me, my husband saw it first hand so im not crazy

The guys at the pub were shocked that i sorted it out (dunno why ) haha

I know nothing interesting but i was so shocked to be stood outside my car with the key in my hand and the engine running.

Mine's done that before. It was moisture in the D4 connector/fuseboard.

Bubbles, is there a battery cover on your car. If not you will get the same problem again. As above it is moisture in the D4 that usually causes the faults you had

I had this when i wired my Head Unit to the ignition. Somehow power was geting back down it so you could take the key out and the engine would run until you turn the Stereo off.
