Hello! My Stilo 1.9JTD shows Loose Connection error and most lamps on the dashboard are on, the rev counter doesn't work, the speedometer too also the temp gadget. The only thing which works is the fuel gadget. All grounds, fuses, connectors and whatever else are checked, the battery too.I looked at all threads in the forum but i couldn't find the FIX.

It could be your dash cluster is gubbed, there's a few threads lurking on here about this happening. You can replace your cluster with one from a breakers but it HAS to have lower milage on it for the proxi alignment to work - you can only increase the milage, not decrease it ;)

From what I've read it's a problem with the cluster losing connection to the body computer I think, might be worth a shot getting to it and removing the connectors and giving them all a good spraying with contact cleaner and letting them dry and plugging them back in and see if it works.

moschino02 no the car speed is OK
MarkThompson4 The car is in service and the person who is repairing it says that the problem is not in the dashboard, he has replaced it with another one but it had not an effect. He says that maybe the problem is in module but i didn't understand which one.The man also said to me that the car is in the same status with and without processor but which processor i don't know

theres a few videos on youtube you might want to look at - type in loose connection stilo - READ THE COMMENTS for all the videos you view as some people state how they solved theirs

i have similar problem where my engine cuts out whilst driving -i get the loose connection message but car starts up again straight away...i got an ECU on order hopefully this will solve mine its been 4 months:eek:fingers crossed..

Just a thought, I was getting loose connection and ever since i have replaced the Positive terminal multi branch fuse block i don't have loose connection now.

Just double check that your Battery terminals are tight and don't move.

If you lift off the big battery cover its the fuse block that fits on the + terminal on the battery.

This is the bit i replaced on mine.

Hm... I unplugged the ABS and it is OK. I was talking with one service and they said to drive the car there and they will fix the abs to work

P.S. Sorry for my English
