Hello,

I've a specific problem. Central locking works ok on all doors, except the drivers one. It seems to try to pull down the safety cylindrical plastic but it doesn't achieve this. I have to pull down manually to lock the drivers door. Maybe it's a deadlock problem and has to be reset. Any help will be valuable! How to reset the deadlock?

Thanks!

Thanks for your reply, but I think I have a different problem.
Everything works OK but the driver's side (left handed car). Tried to reset the central locking by enabling/disabling it, but the same things happened. The cylindrical plastic safety pin (this one at the far left side of the door) seems to be pulled down by central locking but also seems the car doens't have enough power to pull it down completely and of course lock the door. Also I don't have a remote fob. Any solutions, or something near this?

Thanks again for all your replies!

Any idea? The problem insists and I don't know if it's a central locking problem or a motor problem. When I say motor I mean the central lock motor that electromagnetically adjusts the locks. When I use the key to unlock, the door unlocks mechanically, but when I unlock the car from the passengers side, all locks open but driver's lock is refused to open and stayed locked. Only If I unlock it mechanically

Did you find a solution to this issue?
We have the same problem.

It started after using the spare (mechanical only) key for the first time. This may just be a coincidence.

Thanks.

No I don't. My electrician told me that maybe the cables of the lock are worn and not enough current reaches the electromechanical switch. As w know the force is proportional to the current that reaches the switch

The solenoid in the door lock unit could be on the way out, my passenger side started only working occasionally in that it would open but not lock in the end it stopped working completely, so replaced the door lock unit and fixed the problem.found some useful information on dismantling the door parts in the guides section
