Hi guys

can someone point me in another direction.
I had my clutch replaced last week and the car came back with an oil sensor fault on start up, new fault wasnt there before (whats wrong with a dipstick ffs).
Anyways ive just fitted an new sensor and the fault is still there.
there is oil in the car before anyone asks.

just to be clear this is not the pressure gauge, but the sensor that measure the amount of oil in the sump - at the back of the engine against the bulkhead.

nothing shows on fes, even though the dash has an constant amber ! and bleeps on start up.

Is there a seperate fuse for this circuit, and do you know where i can find the wiring under the bonnet to this sensor (i wanna check for damage).

lol james, tempting very tempting...... i like the bits that work on my car though and i know you will break those... wheres my email btw.

does anyone have any further info on this fault?

SOLVED!!!!

just to let you guys know...
when i had the gearbox changed a cable was broken, that cable went to the D4 connector, i replaced the cable and no more faults!!
