Hi folks, hoping to put the JTD up for sale as it's no longer needed :(

Anyway, here's a few details about the car and hopefully somebody will let me know what to expect for it.

03 JTD 5 door
66k miles

sky roof
auto lights/wipers
cruise control
parking sensors
16" alloys (good set of 4 uniroyal rainsport 2's)
aftermarket stereo (connect nav also included)
detachable towbar

work carried out in last 12 months:
new battery (exide premium)
new discs and pads (front and rear)
new shocks and springs (front and rear)
replaced coolant with 5 year red
replaced gearbox oil
replaced clutch and brake fluid
cleaned and blanked egr
new droplinks
new trackrod ends
repositioned overboost valve

Car has been serviced annually with fully synth oil and is running excellent with no warnings. Been getting between 50 and 60MPG and average over 3000 miles is 53-ish.

I'll be sad to see it go, it's been a fantastic car and never let me down in over 5 years of ownership!

Also... any recommendations for places to advertise?

Thanks
Dave

I'm interested, PM me ...

Forgot to mention the bad bits!

Rear axle bushes need replacing as they have gone noisy (mechanic says there's no play in them though)
Aircon is not working (been like this since I got it and could be the usual stilo pipe)

Depends on where you are in country. Up north lower than down south. But I'd have thought you'd be looking at about £2500 to £3000 in sale and a thousand off in part ex. Thats Peterborough area pricing for similar age, type and mileage. The extras don't count for most dealers so perhaps private sale will give better return. Have a look on ebay for pricing of similar around the country.

five doors are alway worth less than three becuase they're pug ugly(n)

mileage is good but needing rear bushes is not, i'd say it's worth about £700 perhaps a bit more if it's really shiny and clean.

edit: the other thing is is it one of the early ones with naff all bhp? something like 80bhp weren't they?

:ROFLMAO:

shadey is bang on the money imo. Has the cambelt been done, as it should have been done around later 08. Water pump doesn't need doing with cambelt on the 115, only the 150.

if the cambelt has been done then i would say 1100-1200 cos of the low miles.

What?? Only the 150?!?!
Doesnt matter what engine bhp are, is always good practice to change the water pump at same time of cambelt
Not changing it is just simply a risk and false economy!!

Just to confirm it is a JTD 115 in Grigio Steel (silver with a hint of blue). Bodywork is in good condition with a few bumps and scrapes which is to be expected given it's age.

Cambelt was carried out to schedule by fiat main dealer.

Dave

Is there the receipt for when the cam belt was done? and how much would you realistically be looking at? I'm from Nottingham by the way, how far away are you?

This thread has changed from a "What's it worth" thread, which are allowed, to a "For sale" thread, which aren't. Continue it in classifieds as I suggested in post #2 above.

THREAD CLOSED.
