Hi there everyone, thought i would pop into here and say hello, i am a marea man but after 7 years and 3 20v weekends all modified, it is time to move onto pastures new and look at gettinga stilo multiwagon, i have been looking at the JTD 115bhp version does anyone have one? what should i look for when buying one ( ihad a 03 plate stilo when it was 6 months old with 3k on the clock and loved it, but had to change for a picasso - growing family)

i will change a few bits on teh new car when i get it, some lowered suspension will work its way on there and maybe a nice set of wheels if it doesnt come with claws or blades, schumacer front bumper, re-map and then just keep it clean.

what can i map it too? would a larger intercooler make any difference?

thanks in advance

Robin

I've got an 04 JTD 115 MW dynamic, has blades, sky window.
Lovely car. I don't drive it hard and am not into modding, so can't really help with that side of things. Biggest things are electrical niggles, so a copy of fiatecuscan free and a VAGCOM cable to read the fault codes is a minimum.

Robin,

I have the car you are looking for. My jtd is remapped to about 165hp, is lowered on DTS coilovers, decatted and a full s/s exhaust. oh, and the 18s.

Pity i'm not selling it for another 8 months.

I have a 115 JTD Dynamic, it's a 54 plate so the electrical issues with the early ones were sorted. I just have issues with the suspension components but I suspect that's down to the quality of the roads around here. This has been backed up by the local garage who tells me that other marques have far more problems than mine.

Nice buddy, but i need a multiwagon, is 165bhp good on these hows the clutch as i know the bravo jtd suffered when mapped, i already have a set of 17" team dynamic monza sport wheels to go on too, but i am not sure to go for coilovers or springs, also been looking at exhuast and also bigger intercoolers is there much improvement with these 2 items fitted? also do any of them suffer from rust?

is this something i can download onto my laptop? also what cable would i need?

I bouyght a VAGCOM/KKL cable of ebay for £7 - and the free version of fiatecuscan can be downloaded - however, the VAGKOM cable only lets yoe see the engine ecu - to semorryou need either an ELM327 cable or smoe adapters for the VAGCOM, I think... I've bought the adaptors but not needed to use them yet...

i don't think you can do much with the rear suspension on the multiwagon. the clutch has just started slipping occasionally now but it has done 100,000miles now.

No rust issues as fully galvanised. Not too sure about intercoolers as to get a bigger intercooler you need to put more bends in which slows things down and saps the power that you gain by having the colder air.
