Hello everyone,

My 2002 1.6 Stilo is having problems regularly with the electrical connections at the M10B ECU connector. When i clean the connector the car is fine for a few weeks, but then it somehow loses the connection and the engine fault light comes up. No throttle reaction and varying idle revs. Engine cuts out.

A few weeks ago the car wouldn't start anymore, i reconnected the M10B connector and everything was fine for 2 weeks. So the problem has to be caused here.

- MAP sensor is replaced.
- cleaned M10B and D4 connectors with contact cleaner.

Fault codes are P0105, P0201 and P1121.

Is it possible to improve the electrical connections at the M10B connector?
Maybe open it and make the female connectors more narrow?

Don't want to replace the connector because it has 64 connections.

Please advise and thanks for your time..

the problem may well be in the ecu itself instead of in the connector.
I'm from the Netherlands too (near Eindhoven) and can help you with this problem -just send me a PM...
