General 2002 Stilo 1.6 Advice

Going to see the car tomorrow but Seller just texted me, the Airbag light has come on, in the car, he has just fitted a new battery to the car.

Would this be related?
If not I have heard about the sensor under the passenger seat, how much do these cost if it is faulty?

common fault, just lift up the cover under the passinger seat and look for the orange connector block, usually they are cable tied together, just remove the cable tie and spray some electrical contact cleaner in there then re connect.
i do this probo once ever 6 months or so on one or the other of the stilos we own.

I dont have them, I folded the seats down yesterday to clean underneath and I dont have anything that looks like that. I dont think our 1.8 has them either.

Update: Went to see the car today and It DOES have ISOFIX, thanks to all who said it did.

Unfortunately the car had not been looked after well so it was not for me, so the search continues...

Id go for a jtd if i were you bit more poke than a 1.6 and the gearboxes are bulletproof. Stilo is a nice reliable car thats comfortable with all the electronic goodies at a budget price. Keep searchin they are rare specially the 3 door versions.
