Hi everyone.

Back again with more problems. Now it seems to be the radio and the central locking.

The radio started playing up first, it kept turning off unexpectedly, and then coming back on. Then it went worse by just flashing constantly, and now its even staying on when there is no key in the ignition. I have changed fuses, not that, I have looked behind the stereo for loose connections, cant see anything apparent there, so must be something else.

Then about a week after this; using my key fob to unlock the car now no longer works. It works fine from the locking button inside, and I can unlock it with the actual key, and it unlocks all doors, but pressing buttons on the key fob does nothing. The red light is still flashing when I press a button so I assume the power hasnt gone in the fob. I have tried really close up and still; nothing.


Any ideas or anyone who can point me in the right direction would be muchly appreciated.

try disconecting the battery for 2 or 3 hrs so the ecu resets it self it worked on the wifes 1.2 stilo with the same key prob

Funnily enough disconnected the battery about an hour ago because the radio was just flashing constantly so didnt want it to drain the battery! Will reconnect it tommorrow, ta.

Just a quick note. Ensure you disconnect both terminals. As the ECU doesn't reset probably if not. I had the same central locking problem as you and it sorted it by taking both terminals off the battery for 30 minutes

Cheers, I had done that, disconnected it overnight, and this morning, still same issue. Looked at all the fuses again etc, cant see any immediate issues but going to replace them all today I think
